Approaching all that he does with an attitude of helping the people and community around him improve and advance. Houston engages with a “you first” mindset. He has invested nearly 30 years in the engineering profession helping and supporting clients, co-workers, and colleagues, achieve goals and reach success.
Beyond the technical, Houston brings a diversity of experience including commercial retail, construction products manufacturing, governmental public service, and consulting engineering. It is an experience that provides unique awareness and perspective of the needs, wants, and goals of those he serves; an ability to see issues from the perspective of others which grants multiple viewpoints that become integral to decisions and leadership.
The common fabric is people. The common thread is relationships. Relationships are with people and everything we do is – or should be – in service to people. It is a simple philosophy, though one not practiced as often as one might think. Houston is a firm believer that there is a solution to every obstacle and his answer to “can it be done” is “yes – now let’s figure out how to get to yes”.
