Hardin County Water District No. 1 Radcliff Wastewater Treatment Plant

Hardin County Water District No. 1 partnered with Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (CCI) for professional engineering services on the Radcliff WWTP Solids Processing Replacement project. This initiative included the construction of a new solids dewatering building equipped with a modern screw press and solids handling system, replacing the outdated dewatering belt press that had been in service for over 20 years.

As part of the project, CCI also assessed the sludge transfer station and recommended upgrades to ensure it could maintain the necessary flow rates to the new dewatering building.

Scope of Services:

• Data Collection – Historical Data Collection; Survey (TPS, topographic, boundary)

• Preliminary Concept Design – Project Management; Design Concepts; Technical Memorandum (TM) for equipment comparison, selection, and development of a Preliminary Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (POPCC)

• Final Design – Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical drawings and specifications

• Bidding

• Construction Administration

• Resident Project Representation (RPR)
