Raleigh Town Center Promenade
As part of the Raleigh Town Center Plan, the City of Memphis transformed a 27-acre site into a dynamic community space, enhancing connectivity and public engagement. Cannon & Cannon, Inc. (CCI), in collaboration with Ross Fowler, lead the design of a lakeside promenade, plaza, and pocket park, all supported by improved roadway infrastructure.
Project Scope Includes:
- Pedestrian-Friendly Design – Walkways, shade structures, and seating areas for community gathering.
- Infrastructure & Connectivity – Roadway improvements to enhance accessibility and mobility.
- Stormwater Management – Hydrologic and hydraulic design to support current and future development.
- Landscape & Streetscape Enhancements – Decorative pavement, lighting, landscaping, and site furnishings to create an inviting public space.
This redevelopment effort aligns with Memphis’ vision to create vibrant, walkable urban spaces that foster community interaction and long-term growth.
