University of Tennessee Stokely Hall/Lake Loudoun Student Housing

The University of Tennessee Lake Loudoun project is a new residence hall, dining facility, and parking garage for the University of Tennessee Knoxville Campus.

The new residence hall has 586 bedrooms with shared living spaces and houses 684 students. The total square footage of the building is approximately 375,000 square feet with an overall footprint of approximately 33,000 square feet. The dining facility is open to all students, faculty, and staff.

CCI provided civil design for the layout, grading, drainage, and utilities design for both the residence hall and the dining facility in conjunction with Ross Fowler’s landscape and site design. The project included coordination with the site and building design for the parking garage (by others). Site features included a loading dock for the dining services, a utility area for generators, electrical and gas services as well as a recycling area. Future projects will include the expansion to the University of Tennessee’s Football Practice Field (Haslam Field). Redesign of the existing facility will include an additional full size practice field and site improvements.
